Introduction of Department:

        Welcome to the department of Paediatrics at kuwait teaching hospital affiliated with Peshawar Medical College. For years the department of Pediatrics has been committed to providing outstanding pediatric care and educating the next generation in the field of pediatrics.
we have 40-bedded unit with 30 beds in pediatrics ward and 10 beds for nursery, we also have isolation unit for communicable diseases like measles.
Recent investments in our clinical programs include complete renovation of our unit, arranging moderen neonatal resuscitaire and incubators in our NICU, high dependency unit in pediatrics ward with new monitors and launching of IMNCI.

Role of Department:

        Understanding that children are not small adults, and their care must reflect threir unique physical, emotional and developmental needs from infancy through adolescence, the new ward is being designed with children and their families in mind with planning of having play area in near future.
In addition to our commitment to clinical care, an essential mission at Kuwait Teaching Hospital is to train the next generation of doctors.
